It’s Always a Good Time to Replace Your Siding and Windows at the Same Time

Are you happy with the way the exterior of your home looks?  Is it safe from the weather and other outside factors? There are two elements that go a long way toward its appearance as well as its protection.  The siding on your home, along with the windows, creates the look and feel of the home while protecting the outside of it at the same time.

A lot of homeowners think that changing the siding on the home is the best way to go to improve its appearance, but it is important to note that changing the windows along with the siding can really make a difference in not only the look of the home but also the protection that comes along with it.  We often do projects that involve both of these being done at the same time.

So why should homeowners change out the siding and the windows in one project?

Your Home Will Look Nicer: You wouldn’t want brand new nice siding with older, outdated windows, would you? You want something that is really going to drive in the look and feel of the home. You want something that is going to give your home the curb appeal it needs. You can even play off of the architectural design that is on the outside, giving it a nice boost in appearance.

The Energy Efficiency Gets a Major Boost:  Protecting the inside of your home is one thing but being able to save some cash in the energy bill every month is another. By replacing both of these together, you can save up to 25% on the cost you spend to heat and cool the inside of the home. Both of these home choices work to keep the comfort inside the home, so you don’t worry about it leaking to the outside.  While siding provides the most protection to the exterior of a home, it’s the windows that have the most significant impact on heat or cooling loss, and hence energy use.

It Provides Convenience for Homeowners:  When faced with equivalent options, people generally choose what’s more convenient.  By investing in both of these things at the same time, you can reduce the amount of stress you’re under. You can cut back on the costs, hire the same Minnesota home improvement contractor, and get many perks from bundling them together, including less stress. You’re basically having one project done, not two.  And you’re only going to need to make one financing arrangement to pay for it.

There is a lot inside your home that needs protection, so make sure you know what is happening on the outside. Replace your siding and windows at the same time and benefit from having both of them add beauty to your home while protecting it.  Speak with us here if you want to learn more about energy-efficient windows and quality siding options.
